The episode opens with the house returning from elimination. Nany and Turbo are talking, and Turbo is designing a picture of some sort with lines that move across different slips of paper. We also get a few shots of some people giving each other face masks, including Bear and Georgia. Jordan talks with Tori about how the house is a mess, and Turbo talks with CT about being stuck in the middle of two alliances.

Team US setting up their pyramid.

We head to the mission, entitled Resilient River Run, sponsored by Alkaline Water. Each team has to build a pyramid puzzle on top of a raft and then walk up a river to grab a relic. They then have to grab another relic, before moving to the finish.

Team US moving its pyramid while the UK is still setting theirs up.

The next mission starts, and Team US seems to be much more proficient on the puzzle than the UK. US gets its pyramid done in pretty quick fashion, while CT is trying to get the UK in order, but it is not working. US gets moving, with a few members swimming by the side before the UK finally gets moving. Ninja grabs the relic for the US, while Kyle grabs it for the UK. The UK is struggling with its relic as it keeps falling off and they have to put it back on.

The US pyramid breaking.

The US relic falls off as well, and Zach seems to be getting really frustrated. The US puts its first relic in place, and the UK is a decent bit behind them putting their relic in place. Jordan starts shouting at some of the women on the team (including Tori), getting them frustrated. Ninja is trying to lead the team from the front, and Zach is not a fan of her leadership and starts splashing her, which Leroy accosts her for. The Team US relic keeps falling, but Zach actually catches it one time and puts it back on easily. Eventually, Team US gets to the finish with Turbo putting the last relic in, getting the win.

Turbo pushing Jordan.

After the mission, Turbo is practicing some martial arts on some of the relics. Jordan gets frustrated and is trying to get Turbo to participate in the team’s political discussion. After Turbo kicks both off again, Jordan gets right up in his face prompting Turbo to shove him. Security gets involved, and Turbo tries to sprint at Jordan with security and Leroy trying to hold him back, and Turbo is having none of this. As we saw last season, angering Turbo is not a good idea and he can hold a grudge.

Turbo being restrained by security.

After the mission, Zach is elected speaker and takes Turbo and Tori with him. The three get to go on a riverboat ride, which seems like it will be quite awkward. Back at the house, Josh and Turbo are talking and Turbo seems steadfast in voting in Jordan. Rogan tells CT he thinks he is going to go into elimination, due to how the Tribunal is laid out. We head to the nomination, and Bear opens it up by voting for Rogan. Rogan returns the favor by voting for Bear, which Bear is incredibly incensed by. They begin to vote for Rogan, who gets 5 votes. Bear also gets 5 votes, but CT and Idris do not vote. CT complains seemingly of the basis of neither side being willing to offer Idris and his anything, and nobody speaks up. CT and Idris eventually vote for Bear, who asks the Tribunal for Rogan and says if he wins, he will switch sides. Turbo says he is still voting for Jordan, although Zach and Tori still try to change his mind.

Tori, Zach, and Turbo on the river ride.

We head to the club next, where Turbo is sitting by himself and Nany is trying to comfort him. Turbo is still angry about Jordan and Jordan says if Turbo says his name Turbo is going in next. The next morning, the Tribunal goes on a boat ride and Zach and Tori explain to Turbo how him voting for Jordan will reignite the civil war within the team. Turbo says if Jordan apologizes, he will let it slide. Tori talks to Jordan when they get back, and Tori is able to bring Jordan to apologize to Turbo.

The elimination for the episode.

Georgia and Bear get a quick scene before we get a shot of Kyle, CT, and Joss. They all seem convinced it will be Rogan against Bear before we head to elimination. The Tribunal begins voting, with Zach saying, Joss. Turbo says Joss, and it is revealed Jordan did apologize. Tori votes Joss as well, sending him to elimination. TJ introduces the elimination as Walloped. The competitors run through a maze of hallways and meet in the middle. They then have to run through each other and hit the bell. Whoever gets to three first wins.

Bear holding back Joss.

The elimination opens, and the first round they make contact and Joss is able to slip past and hit the bell. Bear is able to trip up Joss and get the point in Round 2. The next round starts, and Joss is able to mostly able to muscle through Bear and push him back. Joss gets the next point, and only needs one more to win. Round 4 starts and Bear is holding Joss back by his shorts. Eventually, Joss is able to get by and hit the bell, getting the win.

TJ dismissing Joss and Bear.

TJ dismisses Bear, and TJ asks Joss what team he wants to join. Joss reveals his Union Jack underwear and stays with Team UK ending the episode.

Eliminated

Bear: Short but strong season from Bear, there really wasn’t much fluff in terms of male competitors this season and he proved himself against some heavy hitters.

Power Rankings

23) Esther: She’s in the better alliance but it seems like at some point things are going to break where she gets thrown in.

22) Jenny: She’s an over 50% odds to go in during any female elimination, but she also is quite the intimidating force if on the Proving Ground.

21) Idris: Being a rookie seems like it would get him caught up in the wrong place at some point.

20) Kyle: He holds significant capital with the veterans on Team US but he’s now at the bottom of the Team UK totem pole.

19) Josh: It would seem like Team US has to lose at some point, and he is a clear throw in if that happens.

18) Nany: Ditto from Josh.

17) Theo: Kyle actually seems to be causing more of a ruckus than him lately so perhaps he won’t be the target for Jogan anymore.

16) Georgia: She could be live to go in next week but her competitive chops earns her some clout.

15) Kayleigh: With Esther taking the heat off of her and being in power she should be pretty clean from here.

14) Rogan: He’s slipped past elimination again, and if the other alliance keeps losing members it will likely stay that way.

13) Zach: I’m still not completely clear on where Zach stands but it’s possible US runs the table from here and the majority of the team makes the final.

12) Jordan: It’s possible I’m overrating Paulie’s alliance on Team US, but for right now Jordan hangs around the middle.

11) Tori Deal: Great episode from Tori, and if she can get her alliance in majority in the Tribunal continually eventually these rankings will flip.

10) Joss: I was surprised to see him go in but considering his standing within his own team I still think he should be ok here.

9) Turbo: The blowup with Jordan could really hurt him, but for the time being as long as he lets it go, he should be fine.

8) CT: There’s been some discussion of him going in but for the most part he seems pretty clean.

7) Dee: Anyone is live to go in at this point, but she seems as secure as anybody on UK.

6) Leroy: Stunning to put him here, but he has been able to hang around and presenting himself as someone who is just and wants to push the team forward yields great benefits in a team game.

5) Ninja: The next three women can really be thrown in a hat and put in any order, I put Ninja here simply becomes she seems to be the least popular.

4) Kam: Kam seems to keep a pretty solid favorability rating through the house, keeping her away from the fray.

3) Smashley: I have her higher up the totem pole simply because everyone seems to like her now, which is insane considering her last few seasons, but charisma goes a long way in The Challenge.

2) Cara Maria: The one issue she has is if somehow Kyle’s crew on Team UK gets power, she would seem to be the first target. That would require Team UK winning and that alliance getting the Tribunal though, neither of which seems likely.

1) Paulie: Considering someone in his adjacent alliance (Joss) got thrown in and he let someone who seems to oppose him (Zach) get power, the gap in control is significantly smaller than I thought it was but for now he stays number one.
