Hello and welcome to the fantasy rules for The Challenge: Total Madness! Below are the scoring rules, which will be updated prior to the season as more info becomes available.

Total Madness Fantasy Rules

Additional Scoring Notes:

Final Challenge Placings: Must finish in order to receive points. If a steal the money twist occurs, both partners receive points regardless of the decision.

Winning Daily Mission: If the mission is played as a team but has only one official winner/winning pair; only the winner/winning pair gets the points.

“You Killed It”: Any phrase including “kill” and “it” while being used in a positive manner would be included.

Surviving a Cycle: A cycle occurs whenever the show has gone through an elimination. Therefore, whenever the player survives a mission followed by an elimination they will receive points.

Physical Fighting: Fighting where physical contact occurs. Only awarded once per set.

Producer Interaction: When producer intervenes with the intent of diffusing the situation.

Coitus: Any situation where covers are seen pulled over the couple would count. Awarded once per setting.

Doubling Up Bonus: If done with two different people in the same episode, the second occurrence receives a 1.5x bonus.

Nudity: Any situation where obscene body parts have to be blurred.

Verbal Fighting: Fighting solely done verbally. Only awarded once per set.

Crying: Tears must be seen to earn points. Only awarded once per set.

Vomiting: Must be able to see emesis, only awarded once per set.

Breaking Up a Fight: Must get in between participants and physically lead one of them away from the fight.

Kissing: Must be done on screen and on the lips. Only awarded once per couple per episode.

Doubling Up Bonus: If done with two different people in the same episode, the second occurrence receives a 1.5x bonus.

Plays a Prank: Has to be referred to or explicitly seen as a prank.

Primal Scream: Must be at full pitch and bulging pose.

Forming an Alliance: At least two separate players must explicitly make an agreement to work together and come through on that commitment.

Breaking an Alliance: Must vote in or do another action opposed to someone who has been explicitly referred to as an alliance.

Voting Someone Into Elimination: Must be part of a voting bloc that succeeds in getting someone thrown into elimination. If it is a situation where someone is allowed to select their opponent, it will not count.

Casting a Tying Vote: Must be the last person to vote and after seeing how everyone else has voted decides to tie it deliberately.

Getting Kicked Off The Show: Must be explicitly removed from the show by production, the incident must be addressed on screen. If a player is disqualified only due to the actions of their teammate; only the offender will receive points.

Confessional: Points will be awarded on each separate confessional. Confessionals must be broken apart by significant screen time.

IMPORTANT: Nothing shown in a flashback will be awarded points.
